CLASS 5: Canning and Preserving Food October 6th, December 2nd
In this day long course we will go over the fundamentals of how to can,
dehydrate and preserve food including some good ways to preserve fruits, meats,
and dairy in the traditional way before they had refrigerators. We will prepare
a tomato sauce to demonstrate water bath canning and another fruit or vegetable
to demonstrate pressurized canning.
